It's been now more than 9 years we've been together me and my bf and something is starting to bother me. From the very first time i came to visit his hometown for the summer, his mom seems to have a problem with how i am, even to this day.

She has a problem with me dressed in black. I remember her telling me how depressed and sad i looked always dressed in black. So, maybe in the second year i moved in their place, i started dressing more of an "average jane". Over the years, i felt myself lost, it wasn't me dressed in jeans, unusual shirts color and so on. Than came the kind of music i listen to, which is mostly heavy metal. She think that heavy metal is evil, satanical and only bad lyrics. I wonder if she has even listen to a heavy metal songs, i think she is just old-game about this. The third, stuff about skulls, i do love designs with skulls when it's elegant but as soon as it's a skull, she will avoid it, even say a comment that will kind of piss me off. Same for the stuff dolls i have, i have a little skeli-kitty, she had a problem with it then i bought Ryuk, the shinigami from death note and a bag of death note plus the death note book itself. Just because there is the word "death" on it, she do have a problem with it.

Few days ago, i've let her know that i grew sick of those talk about me and my interest so i left them there and took few hours for myself and vent this out...

Now, my reflection is on this: Do i really want to spend the rest of my life with a family that seem to always complaint about how i am, about my liking, what music i listen to, the way i dress and so on?

Seriously, i am starting not to be happy in this.

Update on my roadtrip: I'm now in Kamouraska or something like that, should get to Gaspesia late tomorrow, hopefully...
